Diplomacy

Diplomacy is a very cool strategy game set in World War I era Europe. The whole idea of the game is to test your diplomatic and negotiation skills. It is designed so that in order to survive long you will need to find some allies, but in order to win you'll have to get a little cutthroat at some point.
Here is some information on on-line Diplomacy games I have played. I've included notes taken throughout the game and postscript map files. If you need a postscript viewer Ghostscript provides a free viewer for almost any platform.
Trinja
Here is some information on the game "trinja" played on the USEF judge. I played Turkey. The game ended in a true two-way draw between myself and Russia.

Redink
Here is some information on the game "redink" played on the USIN judge. I played the victorious Germany.

Mets
In the game "mets" on USEF I played Austria. This game actually ended in a six-way draw that included everyone but England. It was really the best possible outcome for me. I was down to three centers and no prospects for improving my situation.

OpenToAll
This is the first game I played on the BOUNCED server. I played Italy. I was part of a three way draw with France and England. Turkey, though still surviving, was not part of the draw.
