Font Links
Softy is the world's only shareware font creation program. It is lacking several features you'd like to have but the price is right. A couple versions are available for download, and if you like it the author asks a mere $25. (This site may, unfortunately, be dead.)
Font Creators
Provides an unbelievable number of great original fonts. And many are
all free. If you like fonts you have to visit this site.
Divide By Zero is the home of many of the
fonts you've seen featured all over the net, like Signal to Noise, Submerged,
and Prefix.
Robot Johnny, formerly known as Robotic Attack Fonts, is where I found "Canker Sore" one of my favorite fonts.
Blambot has some very cool comic book related fonts for you.
Good fonts and some great graphics on his site.
DincType has closed down a lot of their stuff, but they still have a bunch of good fonts available for free.
TypeOasis displays the work a a bunch of different artists.
Font Collections
FontFace has a nice collection of fonts and features a font of the day.
You really should Meet Mary Forrest, a very cool chick with a lot of amusing stuff on her site. She also hosts the Free Font Fiesta, a stunningly thorough list of font sites. It even includes mine.
Famous Fonts has a cool collection of fonts you've seen in the movies, on TV, and all sorts of other famous places.
I don't know what make a font particular to generation X, but the people at Happy Hour do.

Dr. Berlin's Foreign Font Archive is The definitive collection of shareware foreign language fonts.
All Good Things Typography has a collection of fonts plus some nice information on Typography in general.
If for no other reason Gratis teckensnitt is notable for scrolling sideways.

Gimp is a very nice free graphics editing program.
Combat Mission
Battlefront.com is the game's publisher.
They have a very nice set of forums for discussing their games.
Ray Tracing Links
POV-Ray v3.1 is a wonderful and feature-rich ray tracing program. And best of all it's free.
The Internet Ray Tracing Competition is a bimonthly contest and a place to find some great computer graphics work that people have done.
Webby Links
The W3C is the standards-making body for the world wide web. Among other things they provide services to validate your HTML and validate your CSS.
For accessability information you can go to the W3C's Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) Home Page or the Bobby Home Page.
ICRA is a web content rating service.
There is some Cascading Style Sheet information at the W3C CSS Page.

ReelViews is a site where James Berardinelli reviews movies. He is the most intelligent movie reviewer I know of.
Torrin Jones is a really cool guy. You'll check him out if you know what's good for you.
BarCode1 is a site with a whole lot of information about barcodes of all types.
Utilities
Aladdin Systems offers a free download of Stuffit Expander a very nice tool for unzipping and uncompressing files.
Ghostscript is a free postscript viewer. They have copies of their software for almost any platform.
PGP is a free and very good encryption system. You can read about it and download it from this site.
